Local Studies
The Local Studies Department is located at Watch House Cross Community Library. Use of the facilities in this section is open to all and there are no charges except for photocopying and printing. There is an extensive collection of Limerick-related materials held here. This local collection is an essential aid for anyone researching the history of Limerick.

We try to help with family history queries although it should be noted that we do not offer a genealogy research service. There is now an incredible range of online resources available towards such research and we have compiled a list of useful links here
