O'Brien Park
O'Brien Park is situated in Clare Street, on the N7 Limerick/Dublin Road. There is a small children's playground in the park (toddlers - 10yrs old), which was updated in 2002.
Located near the play area are a park shelter and a cast iron drinking fountain.
Among the mature trees in the park are Alder, Ash, Beech, Birch, Flowering Crab, Hawthorn, Hornbeam, Holly, Horse Chestnut, Lime, Maple, Mountain Ash, Oak, Ornamental Pear, Whitebeam and Willow.
Opening hours are: 8am to dusk, and 8am to 9pm from the 3rd week in April to the 4th week in August.
