In brief:

 

David is a multiple Irish national champion having won the road race title three times in 2004, 2005 and 2007 added to three Individual Time Trial titles. He recently turned his attention onto track racing and qualified for the World Championships in Manchester in the men’s individual pursuit where he recorded 4min 20.910 seconds for the 4,000m event to finish in 6^th place and smash the Irish record. He has been selected for the Irish team at Olympic Games in Beijing this year.
