In brief:

 

Ciarán is a double Olympian from the Sydney and Athens games. He won the FBD Rás in 1998 and 2002 and competed in the Giro d’Italia in 2000 where he finished 5^th and 6^th on two stages. 2008 has been a good year for Ciarán with three stage wins and overall victory in the Rás Mumham, stage 6 victory in the FBD Rás and scored a major win in the UCI ranked Rutland to Melton Cicle race in England.
