The waste collection in Limerick City is privatised. Private waste collectors provide a dry recyclable and waste collection service throughout the city. These waste operators are regulated under the waste collection permit regulations. Only use a waste collector with a waste collection permit.

Dry Recylable Collection
Permitted waste collectors must offer a dry recyclable door step collection to their customers. This means a second bin or bag must be provided to you for the collection of the following materials:
