Waste Management Plan

• Limerick City Council works with the county councils of Clare, Kerry and Limerick to manage waste in the region. 
• Limerick County Council is the lead authority.  
• A Regional Waste Managment Office co-ordinates the four local authority's waste managment activities.    
• The Replacement Waste Management Plan for the Limerick/Clare/Kerry Region 2006-2011 was published in June 2006.
