Environment Improvement Grant Iniatives

• This initative was established  to assist voluntary groups with initaitives that will improve the environment of their local area.  
• Each year the scheme is advertised in the local press and volutary groups on our data base are contacted directly by post.

Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund

• LA21EPF is a small fund that community groups can apply to for local awareness projects. 
• The fund allows the Department of Environment Heritage and Local Government, Limerick City Council and local community groups, schools to co-fund selected local awareness raising projects.  
• Each year once the terms and the themes of the fund are available it is advertised in the local press.  Also all residents/community groups and schools on our data base will be contacted directly by post.
