During Fairtrade fortnight each year, the Limerick Fairtrade City Committee arrange a number of events to raise public awareness of Fairtrade. These events have included the following:

•        Mayoral launch of Fairtrade Fortnight

•        Coffee mornings

•        Street theatre

•        Talk by a Fairtrade producer from a developing country

•        Fairtrade workshops

•        Fairtrade promotions in local supermarkets

•        Fairtrade table quizzes

•        Fairtrade raffles
•       Local radio promotions

•        Press releases

•        School based events

•        Fairtrade campaigns in local churches
