Quilts of all kinds will be shown at City Hall, Merchant's Quay from Wed. Oct 23rd to Fri Nov. 1st 2002
The Exhibition celebrates 21 years of quilt making in the region and nationwide, and is organised by the Mid-West Branch of the Irish Patchwork Society.
Items from the early 1980's to the present day will be shown.
A wide variety of work ranging from traditional patchwork to some very imaginative experimental pieces will be included.
Many of these quilts have been shown at recent exhibitions at home and abroad.
