Limerick City 'Restricted Area'

The Limerick City 'restricted area' includes all of Limerick City along with the parts of Limerick County and Clare County listed below.

Limerick County - Ballysimon, Ballysimon (Dickinson), Banemore, Bohereen, Castletroy, Crabb's Land, Crossagalla, Dromroe, Garryglass, Kilbane, Newcastle, Monaclinoe, Newtown, Peafield, Reboge, Reboge Meadows, Rivers, Singland, Sreelane and Towlerton. (The above includes the built-up areas of Castletroy, Groody Valley, Milford and Monaleen etc.) Ballycummin, Ballykeeffe, Baunacloka, Bunlicky, Castlemungret, Dooradoyle, Gouldavoher, Moneteen, Rathbane South, Rossbrien, Skehacreggaun and Sluggary. (The above includes the built-up areas of Dooradoyle, Gouldavoher and Raheen etc.)

County Clare - Athlunkard, Ballykeelaun, Fairyhill, Garraun, Gortatogher, Knockballynameath, Kilquane, Parteen and Quinspool South. (The above includes the built up areas of Parteen Village, Shannon Banks and Westbury etc.)    

Limerick City Council's Environment Department has circulated an explanatory letter and a 'Notice for Customers' to the main fuel suppliers in the city.
