Waste Electrical Items
The European Directive on Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment, WEEE, means that consumers are entitled to have their old electrical and electronic equipment taken back at point of sale when they are purchasing a new similar item. The old item is then recycled. In addition there are two sites for the collection of household WEEE in Limerick City.
Sites where Household WEEE can be taken Free of Charge
Park Road Depot, Rhebogue Opening Hours: Mon - Thurs 8.00 am - 5.00 pm; Fri 8.00 am - 4.00pm
As space is restricted at Park Road please bring all large electrical goods e.g. fridges cookers, washing machines etc to Mungret Recycling Centre
