Brothers of charity - Adult training centre

The Brothers of Charity Training Centre on the Fairgreen have been awarded a 3rd Green Flag for their ongoing work on the environment.

The training centre runs a number of work programmes to which they continue to introduce innovative initiatives to reduce waste and raise awareness about energy and water conservation. The centre provides an excellent example of how to:

• Manage waste by incorporating the 3 R's, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
• Conserve energy 
• Conserve water

Clonmore Industrial Services achieved its first green flag for Litter and Waste in 2009 - well done to all concerned.
