Shelbourne Park

Shelbourne Park is located in the north western suburbs, on Shelbourne Road between Hassett's Cross (Cratloe Road Junction) and Union Cross (Ennis Road Junction). 

Following a major redevelopment project, including:

• The relevelling, reseeding and drainage of the two playing pitches,
• The construction of a 20-bay car park
• The construction of a Children's Playground, and
• The realignment of paths in the park.

the park was re-opened on 18th March, 2009.

The trees in the park include Ash, Beech, Birch, Lime, Maple, Mountain Ash, Oak, Whitebeam and Willow.

The park's opening hours are, generally speaking from 08.00 to 'lighting-up time' or 21.00, whichever is the sooner (i.e. the park closes at 21.00 between May and August).
