Religious Society of Friends (Quakers): Limerick

In 2008 the Society of Friends and Limerick City Council agreed to microfilm the Quaker papers that related to the Limerick Meetings of the Society of Friends.  The project was funded by Limerick City Council. The original manuscript collection is carefully maintained by the Quaker Historical Library in Dublin.  This project fulfill's the Friends aim to ensure that a preservation copy of the originals is created.  It also extends access to an extremely interesting collection beyond the confines of the reading room.  Limerick City Archives wishes to acknowledge  and thank the Society of Friends for their generosity and foresight in facilitating wider access to this collection. Click Here to view the collection
